Sentry Country

The Greater Hartford and Tolland County areas of Connecticut are truly a great place to live. Located approximately half way between Boston and New York city, the Capitol Region offers a wide range of lifestyle living. From the city, to the hills - to the sea – we have it all!

There are so many fun family things to do in our area. Spend a day at the newly opened Connecticut Science Museum in downtown Hartford; take a trip to the Children’s Museum in West Hartford or the Lutz Children’s Museum in Manchester. Dinosaurs your thing? Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill as a great museum and hiking trails in the back.

Adults will be entertained as well. From exciting nightlife to great shopping and restaurants, there is always something to do. In the summer take in an outdoor concert at the Comcast Music Theater (a.k.a. Meadows Music Theater) or head to the suburbs and catch a local band playing on the town green. Spend the day at the Wadsworth Athenaeum and then catch a musical at the Bushnell Theater! Even if gambling is not your thing, head over to Foxwoods Resort & Casino or Mohegan Sun Casino for some dining, concerts, shopping or just great people watching!

Sentry Country is home to the Uconn Huskies (GO UCONN!!) –  NCAA Championship basketball teams (several state championships) that play home games both at Gample Pavilion in Storrs on the UConn campus and at the XL Center in downtown Hartford. Connecticut is very proud of the Huskies, and you will note this as you travel around and see flags, stickers and various other fan supports for this great team. Aside from the Uconn Basketball teams, we are also proud of our football team whose home games are played at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.  Our area is also home to the New Britain Rock Cats and the Connecticut Defenders (two minor league baseball teams) and to the Hartford Wolfpack – a minor league hockey team.

Greater Hartford and Tolland Counties offer many different communities to live in. Want to live in a high rise in Hartford? A mansion in Manchester? A Colonial in Ellington? With  well rounded communities with various neighborhoods and housing styles, great school systems, arts & entertainment and the great people that make up these communities – this area of Connecticut has got it all!
